I Like Grey's Anatomy
A number of months back I was on a short student film. It was around midnight and I pulled out my ipod and started to watch.
I was surrounded by film students, students who had watched and analyzed all sorts of arty films, were educated in film making, knew the names of directors, writers and the like.
Similar to when I read some of Alex's blogs or interviews, I am thrust into a universe where I pretend to know what it's all about.
So there I am sitting in the corner and a guy comes up to me and asks me what I am watching. Embarassed I say, "Grey's Anatomy."
My husband hates the show. He cannot stand the characters. I even get disgusted by the stupid carping and sappy relationships that spin around in circles and go no where.
However, despite my addiction, I am an indie film lover at heart and I love to create art. That is why working on Babnik was such a thrill for me.
Different than Grey's Anatomy, this film empowers women. Despite the title and a film about exploiting women, women take all.
So yes... my secret on these sets is I like Grey's Anatomy, The Rachel Zoe Project, LOST... But taking part in these projects is more fun than all of those shows combined.
